I've tried everything. I've reset the router multiple times, I've checked multiple times to see if everything is hooked up properly. I've even tried things that shouldn't have anything to do with it.

I can't access the internet through the router.
When I plug the ethernet cable directly into the computer, I have internet access; but when I plug it into the router and plug the router into the computer, I get nothing. Even when connecting wirelessly.

Now what really confuses me is that when I have the modem plugged into the router, the internet light on the router comes on and stays solid. Yet I'm still unable to connect to the internet.

Any ideas?... ._.

The ISP may have restricted the connection to the mac address of your PC only. Try to power off the modem and the router then power up the modem then the router. Many times this will force the modem to take a new mac. Your other option is to configure the router to give out the mac address of your PC.
