wsi oki dsi image file how to recover?

Hallo,
I had a Lenovo G500 laptop, using the oem backup software called onekey i made a full backup to an usb disk..

The laptop has crashed and the Lenovo assistance has retired it and refound me.

But i cannot restore my data in the new computer. After one year i'm still looking for a way to recover my data...

Could someone help me?

I'm not sure I understand. Why can't you install the same backup software and recover the files that you need from the USB disk?

Because the onekey software can be installed only on certain Lenovo computer, and my laptop was retired by Lenovo assistance.

I found the way to install the software in a different coputer (modifying a setup file) but when i try to restore the system want to restart and tell me "i cant find the service partition"

As you can see i have tryed hard :-( for about one year

Ah - that is pretty strange. You might
1) Be hosed - sorry
2) Find someone with a Lenovo laptop with that software
3) Contact the company that makes the software, explain the situation, and they might gift you with a copy. It never hurts to ask.

Lenovo screwed up on this one. You did backups, they left you with useless backups. Sigh.

in the las year I have tryed this all without results:
the local Lenovo lab said me the hd has been formatted
no solution from Lenovo forum
no help from Lenovo assistance
no help from cyberlink (the software maker) as the software is a Lenovo exclusive..
searched for a G500 Lenovo laptop nearby was unsuccesfully 🙁

But i don't give up!!
