Hi tomshardwre, I have a Lenovo H30-50. I wanted to upgrade the GPU to GTX 750Ti(single fan). Do you think it works? Thanks in advance. (Sorry for my bad English)

My current specs are:
i5-4460
8GB ram
GT 720

My plans are:
1)Upgrade GPU
2)Upgrade PSU if GPU requires a lot of power but it may not fit a new PSU in the casing
3)Buy new casing and PSU but not sure if the motherboard is standard form factor or proprietary

PC technical specifications: http://psref.lenovo.com/syspool\Sys/PDF/Lenovo Desktops/Lenovo H30/Lenovo_H30-win487.pdf

Edit 1: Added picture of motherboard

Not an ideal chassis for upgrades.

1) Which power supply do you have? Comes in 180W and 240W. I suspect 180W.

GTX 750Ti is a 75W GPU, CPU is 84W which is 159W total. Leaving barely anything for everything else. So if you do have a 180W, it is not advisable to upgrade.

These power supplies are proprietary and small form factor, so not really upgradeable either. You could try and track down the 240W version of the power supply.

An alternative would be the GT1030, a low power GPU, but quite a bit more powerful than the GT720.

If you absolutely must use this system rather than selling it. My recommendation would be to remove the motherboard from that chassis, get a standard Micro ATX case, and a standard 350-500W power supply, and this adapter:

Then you can purchase almost any GPU you want, including fairly significant ones like a GTX1660 and up.
