[WTB] EVGA X58 FTW3 Motherboard (132-GT-E768-KR) - $300 (USD)

Looking for an EVGA X58 FTW3 motherboard for around $300 (USD). Item must be in good working condition and it would be preferable for it to include the original accessories (although I will also consider buying units that don't include them). 132-GT-E768-TR is also acceptable. I am located in Canada but the item can be shipped on my UPS account direct at no cost to the seller, just needs to be dropped off at the nearest customer center. Payment will be made via paypal only.

I currently have a x58 p6t motherboard with a xeon e5640 (quad core 32nm) oc to 4.0ghz. I would not pay that much for a x58 motherboard (assuming your going for the x5650 6c Xeon and overclock it) its not worth paying that much for it. I would go for a x79 v2 motherboard and pick up a $200 v2 8c es (engineering sample) Xeon. Yes it does have a lower clock speed and you can bump up the blck speed by about 10 to 110. But the 22nm kills the 32nm Westmore ep at a much lower clock speed and you probably would spend less. I only get the proformince of a ivy bridge i7 3770k underclocked to 3~ghz keep thay in mind. That's my 2¢ after going down this road.

Thank you for the advice but my intention isn't so much based on performance as it is on wanting to own this specific motherboard. Unfortunately, due to it's low production numbers it's very hard to track down. The premium I am paying is more to entice someone to part with it.

Okay sounds good, x58 boards also have a small problem with recognising the 3rd channel of ram(some a lot of boards have this problem, but cpu-z see's the ram) my p6t does not see the 12gb I have installed. I'm not the only one with this problem, people say the x58 is the common denominator. Here is a craigslist ad with a 980 CPU and ftw3 board for $350.https://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/sys/5394526502.html but its in New york. I bought my p6t off a guy on craigslist in cali and he shipped it to me but its always a gamble.

I have one with, a marvell, i think firmware issue. it seems to work but the marvell part isnt working. it runs it seems for me. ive tested it. i bought it used, the guy said it wasnt used much. Message me.
