Thanks anyway, I currently have a PII 400 cpu, I am using a PII 333 on a QDI legend V mb that is maxed out since QDI has not released nor are they likely to release a bios supporting anything faster. So I am looking to get either the PIII 933-1000 along with an ASUS CUSL2-C mb. My wife is running a P1 233, since she only does word processing, business apps, and web browsing this has been sufficent. However, I would like to give her the PII 400, and after doing some research, I found that the Tyan S1854 would not only accept the slot 1 PII 400, but would allow me to upgrade her machine to a faster socket 370 cpu in the future.
