I can't connect to the internet on my laptop. It comes up with a box with user name: administator

I don't know the password. Please help

It comes up with a password when you try to connect to the internet or when first turning it on to get to Windows? Need some details here. When did this start?

If this message is from the web browser, try to reset to defaults, you may have setup a proxy server setting on it or changed the default connection to something that is looking for an account.
