X1950XT Review

I've been looking for one since the rumors came...Finally found one:

Hardware Zone: X1950XT

As expected, hands nVidia a smacking defeat. Beats the 7950GT in all games, minus the OpenGL Chronicles of Riddick. About the same speed as the X1900XT 512MB. Overclocks OK, they got 655MHz/1890MHz on the stock cooler, expect more with after market and later revisions of Catalyst. Hell of a deal going for it on NewEgg, $249! That is Sapphires HDCP-enabled model with the stock cooler. HiS has their IceQ 3 model at $279 after rebates and instant savings. Very nice deal and is pre-OC'ed to 650/1800MHz, very close to the X1950XTX and is also HDCP-enabled. Truly, a 7950GT killer.

Also, I believe it qualifies as the fastest GDD3 memory speed at stock, 1.8GHz.

I didn't see, is it crossfire enabled?

If so, I'd like to see 2 of those in crossfire...

No, it still requires a master card. Disappointing, considering they did it with the X1950 Pro and all..

I'm not sure, would they need to release a new master card?

I would like to see another site pit this against the 512MB X1900XT in more games/ more settings. But for $249, it' a bargain for sure.

Oh, I'm sorry! I've been away for a few weeks, exams have been coming up. I searched X1950XT, but didn't find a topic. Maybe I didn't search hard enough. Yeah, I'd like some more 512/256 comparisons, as well.
