x3440 on p7h55l-mx not posting

My x3440 not working on asus p7h55-m lx i plugged it in and all and when i press the power button the coolers just spin for a second and then stops abd after 3 seconds this repeats. Im wondering if it is a bios issue because i bought this mobo from AliExpress and idk what version of bios it has already installed. The x3440 has it desktop counterpart in i7-860 and that cpu should be supported out of the box so why am i running into this problem? Any hints?

I had an HD7850 installed and it just turns the fans off 1 second after pressing the power button, including the fans on the gpu
