X4 870k and 1050ti a good idea?

i currently have a x4 870k with a GTX 750ti and i want to upgrade. I recently saw that Nvidea are releasing a new 1050ti and i wanted to know if it would go well with my x4 870k?

You won't get the absolute most out of it but it will definitely improve your experience. The FM2 platform kind of sucks, I'd get something from intel when you can afford it or upgrade when zen comes out, because you have no upgrade pathways right now. The good thing about getting a good gpu is that you can always just delay other upgrades for a few months, it's not going to make your system worse.
