Question X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING, Where are 3 pin fan headers?

X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING

There are plenty of 4 pin headers but the front and rear fans need 3 pin headers and I have scanned this MOBO for 10 minutes and cannot locate any 3 pin headers...please help??

4 pin fan headers accept 3 pin fans, or should if my memory serves.

The 4th pin, if I also remember, is for PWM which allows the board to control the fan speed. a 3 pin fan in a 4 pin header will run but only at full speed.

3 on the right side or from left side?

There should be a piece of plastic on one side of the header that matches the fan connection. I wouldn't be sure as each motherboard lays them out differently but the plastic guide should be there for the fan header.

Thats the pinout for a 4 pin fan header The three pin will used the ground, +12v and Tach in this image and as I said it should have a guide on one side that fits the guise on this header.

As stated above the 3 pin fan connectors will only fit into the 4 pin headers in one way.
The 4 pin headers have a tab to ensure that you connect a 3 pin fan the correct way.
