Question X570 power consumptions

Is it true that i read on internet that they use more power consumption than last gen board? Does this already fixed? How that gonna effect my bill electricity, im kinda scared, have one running right now

The X570 boards do run more power than the previous mobos. I doubt if that can be resolved, it's just the nature of the beast. But it's the CPU that eats up the power, not the board. The faster the CPU, the more power it needs...

Well, a 3900X PC probably draws 250 watts under load... So that's about four 60 watt bulbs... But if you are not putting a heavy load on the CPU, it will probably be a lot less...

im using 3700x right now... hmm i see, ty very much for the reply! do u think x570 gaming plus is a good motherboard for this cpu ?

It's okay... MSi boards have crappy VRMs on the cheaper models which get very hot with the faster CPUs. Don't feel bad tho... I have a MSi Gaming Pro Carbon board with a 3900X and it runs way too hot...
