[SOLVED] x570 Taichi SouthBridge cooler fail

A while ago the SB cooler from my x570 Taichi mobo started to generate some insane sounds, especially at PC startup.
Yesterday I tried to tinker with it and in the end I uninstalled it (PC is super-silent now).

The SB temps don't go over 80 degrees celsius (I have 2x 140mm coolers just below the SB heatsink). Another thing to consider is that my GPU and SSD(m.2) are using the dedicated CPU lanes , so not using the SB. Only thing that theoretically use the SB are the 2x HDDs.

My question : is this a serious problem ? Could I just continue without the noisy cooler ?

80C is a bit high, but acceptable. The chip may degrade faster, but that's really it.
