Sorry if this is a repost, but I couldn't find a thread that matched my circumstances.

I had to flash bios my x570 Tomahawk, version 7C84v14, so I did that prior to installing any peripherals or putting it into my case. Finally got it to post after reading a reddit that the USB can't be left in post flash. Everything worked great, posted to BIOS. After installing the board and wiring up all my storage and fans I keep getting a VGA error on the EZ Debug lights. I've tried installing my GPU in both PCIe slots, using a different 8 pin power cable, I tested the GPU with my old mobo and everything runs fine, I've gone down to single stick RAM.

Hardware:
MSI x570 Tomahawk WIFI
Ryzen 7 5800x
Noctua NH-U12S
Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000 MHz 15-17-17-35 (2x16GB)
MSI GTX 1050 Gaming X 2GB - waiting on RTX3070 to become available for upgrade
EVGA G3 850 80+Gold PSU

Storage:
WD Blue 250GB SSD
WD Blue 2 TB 7200RPM HDD
Seagate 750 GB 7200 RPM HDD
Samsung 970 Evo 1TB M.2 SSD

Acer VG240Y monitor 1080p 75Hz refresh

Did you end up finding a solution to this? I’m having the same issue.

Yeah sorry forgot I had posted here after no responses. Got the machine running with the following:

flash BIOS ver. 7C84v14
REMOVE usb drive after flash is complete
Restart system

**my seagate 750gb HDD was no longer supported by MSI on the x570 board and refused to post with it plugged in instead of just not registering it as a device. I checked the SATA port and connector just to make sure it was the storage causing the issue
