I've just got all the parts today and got to build the pc. Motherboard seller claims it has the newest bios available installed, so it shouldn't be a problem to run x5650 on it? Unfortunately, i don't have an I7 to check the motherboard, but if i can't find any solution without it, they are dirt cheap so it won't be a problem, but i'd rather not buy one. Sorry in advance for the clicking on the video. All in all, mobo tries to post twice, but there is not even a single beep. I've took the battery out for about 10 minutes and also replugged the connectors. Without the memory, or with memory in slot A1 instead of A0, there are 3 beeps indicating memory problems, but idk if its relevant. I'll probably leave the motherboard without the battery overnight and try different stick of ram i know is working for sure, but since then, do you guys have any ideas?

While i get the point that the CPU is not oficially supported, many people claim to use it on this motherboard, or sellers even sell those in combos and the cpu is just not recognised as x56xx but works just fine. Also, sites such as http://www.pc-specs.com/cpu/Intel/Xeon/Xeon_Processor_X5650_/2111/Compatible_Motherboards or https://www.game-debate.com/hardware/index.php?pid=2111&moboList=Xeon%20Processor%20X5650 also confirm the compatibility. I'm just not sure if it requires some sort of unofficial bios to run the CPU, and if so, where i can get it.

Update: After about 2 hours without bios battery and everything disconnected i plugged in 8gb stick that im sure worka and reconnected the wiring. Pc did boot up, CPU got recognized as xeon and since i didnt pług in sata cable, it just said theres nie bootable device. Tried restarting it in order to get to the bios, but no success. Also replaced the bios battery. Won't post anymore. Is the motherboard just faulty?
