I recently made a move across states, had my computer as secure as possible. I had problems with this motherboard before, as I had 120 second boot times I couldn’t shake that’s a whole story in itself, essentially got stuck in particular random boot codes, but other than that its worked pretty flawlessly. After moving across states, it now flicks between two codes really fast when I turn the PC on, never ending. The RGB on the ram sticks stay lit and the CPU/DRAM light flash back and forth as the codes change. If I hold the reset button for 5 seconds AND unplug my GPU’s PCIE connector from the motherboard, it’s able to boot up everything besides my icue link attachments (fans, pump, cpu block etc.) oddly. I had one weird circumstance where it booted up all the icue link attachments just fine after letting it sit for 12 hours, but accidentally hit the reset button and it hasn’t again since. If I hold the reset button with the PCIE from my GPU plugged in, the reset button trick doesn’t work.
I’ve tried reseating ram across all slots, reseating CPU, clearing CMOS, disconnecting particular icue link attachments, nothing. Since they all powered up that one boot up with no noticeable issues, I assume they’re fine. My first thought is either PSU or motherboard, but I personally am putting my money on the motherboard. Any thoughts or opinions are appreciated so I can save a buck/time avoiding buying multiple replacement parts and returning them.
