Greetings,

I'm currently picking out components to upgrade my motherboard and CPU. The motherboard I've currently settle on is the MSI X670E Gaming Plus. On my current motherboard I have two Samsung 970 EVO M.2 SSDs but that model is not on the list of compatible storage devices:

How concerned should I be here?

Should I assume that my M.2 SSDs won't work or have they simply not tested older models?

I guess they must not have tested models before the 980, but I can't imagine the 970 models not working on that motherboard. Both the motherboard and the SSD are one of the most popular models on the market. I don't think MSI could afford those SSDs not working on that motherboard.
