x99 Lan card(i218-v) problem in Windows 2012 R2.

So a friend and I are trying to install the Lan/Internet Driver on an x99 platform(Gigabyte x99P-SLI) on windows 2012 R2 and it says that the adapter is NOT detected when installing, we trying the disc drivers, we tried downloading from both Gigabyte and Intel and all the fixes on google and the problem still remains, so if someone know how to fix this or has an idea pls tell me/us in the comments. the name of the Lan card is intel i218-v, btw.

That Nic isn't supported by 2012r2. Either get a supported card or you can try this workaround which has had good results with many people.
