Hello everyone,
I purchased a new computer which arrived in mid-November. For the first month and a half or so, the computer ran perfectly, with multiple hours of use a day. Then, shortly after christmas, my computer began to freeze randomly and I would have to reset it, and it would run fine for a few hours before freezing again. Recently it has been freezing a lot, as in watching a 10 minute youtube video, reset 3 times. At one point it gave me the error 6f upon booting, but did not start up. I tried starting it again, but with the same result. I did a little research and I think it has something to do with either my bios or my ram sticks, because the first time the 6f error occurred I unplugged a ram stock, plugged it back in and it booted up properly, not solving the freezing issue though. Today I got the 6f error code upon restart again, only this time, re-inserting the ram does not help it start back up, simply giving the 6f error code before shutting back down. I have the ASRock x99x fatal1ty motherboard and 4 xdata ddr4 4gb ram sticks.
I did not build this computer because I don't know a whole lot about computers so absolutely any help is very much appreciated, thanks.
