Xbox live connects to internet, but cant connect to xbox live.

i am currently running on wifi and every once in-a-while this happens: ill turn on the xbox but it desnt sign into live. I check the connection and everything goes fine until the last step when it tries to connect to xbox live. i tried all of the solutions that it has offered me but it still doesnt work. sometimes it will just randomly come back and work but I dont want to wait for that to happen...Any Suggestions?

well wireless is never recommended for online gaming. I would get a ethernet cable.i tried using the built in wireless on my new xbox but got disconnected in about a half hour so i put back in the cable.

Hardline is better, but you might have to just call XBox Live support to find a specific answer for your case.
