I recently got this desktop mic for my Xbox and it has the headphone jack on the bottom. I noticed that when I have my mic muted and I’m playing music the music comes through the mic if loud enough, I was wondering if I bought a headset y adapter splitter would it stop that issue. It has a tap to mute on top and when I use it my music still bleeds through my microphone The mic isn’t plugged into the charger when on. Any solutions would be appreciated

Yes and the Xbox controller is plugged into the Xbox I've tried it with a wireless controller and it still does it. The Xbox controller only has one port for the headset/mic

I do I use apple ear buds connected into the bottom of the mic in the headphones port the picture above will show you. I also noticed even if I don't have a headset/earbuds plugged In my mic is still picking up music or at least I can see it picking up with a mic tester in cod

Ok so when I plug the microphone into the mic port on the PC the mic doesn't work but if I plug it into the headset port on the PC my headphones work and my mic still doesn't but it picks up the audio from the music maybe a splitter would fix it
