Hello,

When ever I plug my Xbox One controller into my PC and try to play, it always glitches out. Either the camera gets stuck and it spins in circles or my character gets stuck moving in one direction. I've tried unplugging and plugging it back in and it only fixes it for about for a minute then it gets stuck again. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the controller drivers and it does nothing. Both of my controllers work fine on my Xbox One. Any ideas on what the problem is or how to fix it?

Solution
the problem has been fixed with the last couple insider builds but it may not have trickled down to the public build yet. sadly you can't simply download the newer driver they have and install it. you have to wait until it makes it to their public server.

lots of final bug testing right now in preparation for the anniversary release in june including a lot to do with controllers, especially wireless ones. it may be out before that but it may wait until the final release. i don't have that information other than what i am seeing in the preview builds.

once released, it includes using the controller as a mouse to control windows and apps. still buggy but works a bit :)
That problem falls right back onto microsoft directly, they have not released a new driver to fix.
The glitchy movement in games, or non recognizable button commands.
You might have to unplug the controller a few times to get it to work, but after awhile same old issues.
I suggest using the xbox360 controllers for 10, until MS confirms and corrects their problems with the xbox one controllers.

there is no link that i have seen, to information or the driver itself. i am an insider and get the previews which is how i know about them. to get them you have to sign up for the insider program and download the preview build. lots to look at but it is not recommended for a daily use pc as it updates way too often and is very buggy since it is still beta testing features.

the insider blog lists a lot of information about fixes and changes and known issues but nothing specific about any single item https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2016/04/26/announcing-windows-10-insider-preview-build-14332/

the driver number is 10.0.14332.1001 and it was released on 4/22. perhaps some googling might turn up someone who has copied them and posted them somewhere or has some info you can read.
