Xbox One controller vibrates when plugged in but light doesn't light up

When I plug in my Xbox One controller to my pc or xbox it vibrates but doesn't light up. I've tried multiple USB cords still no luck. The controller works through bluetooth but I'm not able to use bluetooth anymore. I can't update the drivers because it doesn't connect at all and now my Xbox one won't turn on so I can't even connect it to that.

It's possible that the controller might've given up. What sort of cables have you tried with your Xbox One Controller? Have you tried powering up your console with another controller borrowed from your friend/neighbor?
