Even with my perfectly fine gaming pc with a 3900xt and 5700xt, I would love one of these for no other reason than the hundreds of games I own from my younger days on xbox but finding one for 299 without a huge hassle is impossible where I live right now.

I am not a fan of consoles, but the latest Xbox/PS is really a piece of engineering marvel thats even better than the PC. See those memory chips? They are GDDR6 and both CPU and GPU has access to the same memory. Thats pretty much same as AMD's SAM or Nvidia's BAR, only way way better. BAR or SAM requires data to be transferred across PCIE. Even with 4.0, its still just 64GB/s, You will need dual channel DDR4-4000 to match this transfer rate. That GDDR6 is over 500GB/s.

"serious firepower"
running a lot of games in 900p, not having RT in most games that Series X has, slower memory and bandwidth, 10 GB GDDR6
8GB @ 224GB/s, 2GB @ 56GB/s, that One X with 12GB of GDDR5 RAM @ 6.8GHz w/326GB/s bandwidth, 363gb ssd, with proprietary expansion. And worst of all, these 20 RDNA2 units are already proven to be less than 40 GCN2/vega units.
His advantage is just have Ryzen.

They are becoming more readily available on Best Buy website after a restock and on the Microsoft Store. The tough one is the Series X. Just this past week they were available on the Microsoft Store and on the Best Buy website.

In my area which is SW Florida, I see them a lot at the Walmarts.
