Hi,
does anyone know how much better the rtx 3070 is compared to the new consoles?
Is it worth getting the rtx 3070 or just buying the new console?
It is for gaming primarily.

Don't compare the 2.
PC has far more utility, even if all the user assembled it for is gaming, and is priced as such.
Console is just home entertainment. Gaming: It can enhance your experience and library. That's it.

It depends on what that 3070 is going into. A 3070 by itself is obviously useless, except maybe to flip back on eBay for a quick buck.

I would get these components:
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600X

RAM: G.SKILL 16GB (2 x 8GB) Ripjaws V Series DDR4 PC4-25600 3200MHz Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C16D-16GVKB

SSD: 970 EVO 1TB SSD 3-bit MLC NAND M.2 2280

Mother Board: Aorus Elite WFI x570 AMD AM4

GPU : RTX 3070 (of course)

And a good 2k monitor
