I know the differences -
V2 - Ivy bridge, lga 1155
V3 - Haswell, lga 1150

But i have a problem. The v2 is a little bit cheaper. Should i go for it? or should i just get the v3 which is a little bit more expensive? Also, if i should go for the v2, what motherboard should i pick?

The rev number means revision. The manufacturer can make changes to a model of board and they add a rev number to distinguish them. This isn't a problem unless earlier revisions had some problem.

The board you have linked is Z77, so socket 1155.
The website isn't in English, but the board is listed as "demo". Do you get full warranty with this board? Remember that if it fails you may not be able to buy another Z77 board in a few months time.

Demo varer er testede og fungerer, men leveres som udgangspunkt uden tilbehør og original emballage.
Demo "stuff" is tested and works, but delivered without accessories and original boxing

I know this website very well, and if something breaks, they usually replace it no problem. Even with demo things. I can buy a new one for a little bit more - (about 750dkk instead of about 625 dkk)

Well, it depends on what you do with your pc (if you use it mainly for gaming, it's ok)
Haswell V3 is only 5-10% faster than Ivy, but the boost can increase up to 65~70% with the new instruction set extension (AVX2).
As well as with the Haswell's TSX technology (if there is a multi-threading efficiency issue, it can make a difference) etc.
so there are some changes that should help in many cases.
Anyway the Ivy Bridge V2 if you want to save money is a good choice.

Are you saying that the ivy bridge one is better? Because of multithread issues on haswell? and can you link to something? In what way is the ivy bridge better than haswell?

Hmmm, is my English that bad? 😀
no, it's completely the opposite...
[strike]Because of multithread issues on haswell?[/strike] I never said that.

Edit; If you use the pc just for gaming, then forget what I wrote, and go for the cheap one 😉

Oh no your english is not bad.. Now that i read it again, i see what you meant... derp :)

I will be doing some video editing(not too much)

That multithread issues on haswell - As well as with the Haswell's TSX technology (if there is a multi-threading efficiency issue, it can make a difference) etc.
woops - i gotta read it the right way... Derp again.

I guess - If the multithreading is unoptimized on ivy bridge(did i understand correctly?) i think it would be stupid. I would go for i5 4670k if the multithreading does not work properly on v2.
I will pay about 200 dkk(not much, but money is money) if i go for v3. Will i get better multithreading with haswell?

It's ok,
let me explain better, multi-threading works well on both, but on Haswell can be more efficient (only if there is a multi-threading efficiency issue) due to the TSX technology.
My speech was linked to the main use you make of your pc, if you are using a program that has been compiled and use these "new features" (AVX2 etc.) you will have a nice boost in performance.
Again if your main use will be gaming, not worth it, go for the cheap one 1230 V2.

Ok thanks :)
