Can i run xeon e5430 with moded socket on asus p5b deluxe.I need custom bios.Thanks

Yes according to http://www.delidded.com/lga-771-to-775-adapter/3/, but you probably already found that info. And if you read this thread http://www.overclock.net/t/1431723/mod-lga775-support-for-lga771-xeon-cpus/1600 you'll know that you need to inject the microcode in your BIOS; otherwise it won't run at full speed. That's the tricky part, but you should Google "asus p5b deluxe xeon microcode insertion" and then you'll be able to decide if it's worth it or not.
