Xeon or I7 or I5

Hi I am on a 1000 dollar budget to build a killer gaming PC I also want to do things like editing s well as live streaming. Should i go with the Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor or an I7/I5. Thank You

I personally would get the I7 4790K, it has a lot higher clock speed and you can overclock when need be.

I would go either I7 or Xeon for editing/streaming, pass on the i5. It really falls down to if you are going to OC and what other components you will need for the rest of your build. The nice thing obout the Xeon is that you can save some money on a MB (possibly more on a aftermarket cooler) and put that torwards a better GPU or SSD or w/e.

If you won't OC, the Xeon offers a lot of performance for the cost. Definitely worth considering over an i5.
