[SOLVED] Xeon X3440 Supported Motherboard

Does my motherboard supports this processor?
Motherboard Model : Asus P7H55M-LE

Current Processor : I5 680 Lynnfield
Needed Processor : Xeon X3440

Needed a Cheap Quad Core Processor for normal rendering
Actually same price or less as the X3440...Thanks in advance

Officially no, and you'll probably find that the BIOS won't recognise the CPU, but the X3440 is within an acceptable thermal boundary for that motherboard.

My advice would be to find an i7-860 or similar, which are fully supported by that motherboard.
