XFX ATI HD5750 blank screen problems

I recently got my "faulty" ATI HD5750 card sent back due to the pure anger that it brings me when it crashes after 10 seconds of game play. They sent me back a brand new one, Same problems.

Can someone please help with this problem? Or is this just a CCC problem?

There are so many things that can be wrong, is your power supply good enough to support it while in full load? Do you have any RAM errors? Do you have an overheating problem?

Tested with memtest for around 4-5 hours, Not a memory problem. 600W SLI certified power supply, The load for the 5750 is only around 86W, The CPU only gets up to around 52 degrees Celsius, the video card around 56.

I've tested with an old nVidia card (6600GT, old i know) but it ran without a hitch with the nVidia control panel.

How about processor stability? maybe bent pins.
Run Prime95 for a couple of hours.

been running bad company 2 sims 3 and dragon age on my xfx 5750 at max, runs with zero issues, smooth like butter 😉

which drivers do you have? could your game be incompatible with your card/driver set up?

some people are still using 10.4a, some are having issues with 10.5 and 10.6 versions of the Catalyst drivers, in 10.5/10.6 supposedly they suffer from opengl issues

Seems to run great with a nVidia card, Don't see how it could be the CPU.

I don't have the spare parts to do that, unfortunately.

Use a friends/family computer, in worst case you could go to a local computer shop and try it out there

Try going into CCC ATI overdrive and Enable Manual Fan Control and set to 100% and apply. I do this before starting a gaming session and my GPU temps drop from 56c to 44c during MW2. I had similar troubles until I did this
