Xfx GTR 480 8Gb BE fan control

I've purchased the card from the title. I'm running a dual monitor setup, I understand that AMD cards are working on full memory load with multiple screens. My problem/question is:

The card goes up to 59 C on idle (cause of the memory load), the fans turn on (~1000 rpm) , cools down to 49 C, fans turn off and this loop continues.

Now, do I have to worry about this constant on-off thing or no? I can't hear it either on 0 or 1000 rpm, it's not the problem. Wouldn't be easier to set up a 500-600 rpm on idle to keep the card from fluctuating between these temps?

yep you can set it in the AMD controller for the video card, I set mine to 75% (HD5450) because it was doing the same thing.. annoying up and down fan sound.

I don't really want to run my fans on 75% load, I just want them to not turn on-off. I'm not even sure that this influences them in any bad way. I would be really happy if I could turn off this Xfx Zero Db feature.

I checked the Amd software, there is no such option, also minimum rpm is 1330, but fans still turn off nonetheless.
