XFX or Gigabyte R9 390

Can't decide which to go with. I originally wanted the sapphire one, but now the price rules it out.
Say they are the same price because the MIR evens that out. I have heard good things from both. What about temperatures? Thanks in advance.

XFX is a good brand for nVidia cards, but their AMD track record is not as solid. I would personally pick the Gigabyte.

XFX had issues with the 7000 series, especially the 7950. Their 290(X) cards were decent, and their 390(X) seems to be very good. I would pick XFX.

Also, XFX hasn't made Nvidia graphics cards for years.

Ok, thanks for your opinions. Is there any difference in the heat/noise of the cards? I know the Gigabyte one can get quite hot and loud, but what about the XFX? I am just looking for strengths and weaknesses of each.
