XFX R9-270 Black Screen

So guys i bought an XFX R9270 for my computer. I have an asus ASUS P5G41T-M LX Motherboard,E7200 core 2 duo processor an hd 4850 1 gb,4g ram ddr3 gskill. Running Windows 7 64 bits.Power supply cx500 watts corsair.So i tested in my friends cpu and runs fine. But when i plug into my computer theres no display its all black. im using my tv as a monitor for the moment with an dvi adapter with my old card an hd 4850 its working just fine i tested the ports and they are ok too.Updated my bios also and nothing. No display.Could you guys help me please??? I know it will prolly bottleneck but im upgrading my computer by parts because i dont have enough money right now.I would really apreciate some help.

Have you tried removibg the 4850 and inserting only the 270?

Hi Angel, seems we are in the same boat (kinda)
Im an ASUS board user also, and I have a new gen R7 250 card (XFX casually), and looks like AMDs newest drivers wont support certain Asus boards.
Have you tried the usual stuff? I mean, clean installs, power supply, etc?
Maybe Beta drivers (useless in my case)?

Read it like a spastic lol, makes more sense now.

Unplug power supply from wall socket, remove mother board battery. Hold power on button for 30seconds. Re insert battery, plug psu back into the wall socket and boot your system with the new card in.

^^follow those steps exactly how they are written lol

Yeah bro i reinstalled windows 7 from scratch and still nothing tried with new drivers old drivers cd drivers lol switched off power supply and nothing. I didnt try removing the battery from the motherboard ill try it tomorrow and hope it works
