Brand new GPU, not a problem with it, runs loads of games at high settings and stays mildly cool (50-60 degrees usually). However, when I play FIFA 16, which isn't a taxing game really, my card goes into overdrive, fans are spinning about 75% and Speccy/AMD CC register the card at 75 degrees. Only on this game does my card get stupidly warm in comparison to BF4 and GTA5 etc, and sounds like a jet engine...is it my card? or an optimisation issue from EA and FIFA?

Solution
High utilization means the driver are well optimize for the game. Ideally we will want gpu utilization is in 98%-99% range so the gpu raw power are not wasted. But increased utilization will also means increasing heat because gpu high activity. As long as the performance are not affected in negative way it should be fine. If you don't like the heat then maybe you can use your own fan curve instead. By default AIB favors low noise compared to heat.
I use V-sync on fifa, you have to lol, but that doesnt solve the issue...the gpu is about 85% load, usually higher, which is stupid for fifa because my 760 was only ever topping 60%. Tried reinstalling the drivers to no avail. My solution at the minute is to have a fan blasting cool air at it, so at least the fans are turned down a bit

yeah did a custom fan curve and now the utilisation has levelled at about 90/95% and the temps arent raping my fans into high speeds...still stable so probs just a glitch maybe, all sorted now though thanks
