I just received a new XFX Radeon HD 5750 Card which came with power a connection cable (Molex to 6 pin) I also have a new ASUS MB with a power connection 8 pin. which I pluged into the MB (EATX12V). I think that this powers all the connector slots on my MB I do not want to use the mokex to 6 pin to power the new video card just in case it will receive two sources of power, if I understand right, could someone please advise me, thank you

You have to use it in order to power the card up, the pcie slot won't provide enough power.

Thanks for the support, I went ahead and installed the FXF Radeon HD 5750 video card with the molex to 6 pin connector and and fired it up, removed old drivers for old card, but now I am trying to up date drivers cannot gat on FXF site even though I am registered, any ideas.
