XFX vs EVGA power supply

Hello,
I am going to upgrade my XFX pro core 850w psu to a modular power supply fairly soon as I am able to sell my current one to a friend. I am torn between the XFX modular 850w/750w and the EVGA superNOVA G2 supply 750w/850w. Both of the power supplies cost the same however I am leaning towards the EVGA model as I have heard that they have exceptional build quality. Any thoughts?

XFX is made by SeaSonic, and you can't really beat SeaSonic quality. I'd go with the XFX.

Agreed on the XFX, it is your best bet for a PSU

Seasonic (the XFX) is great, but Super Flower (EVGA) is just as good. That EVGA comes with a 10 year warranty too, compared to XFX 5 year. Overkill on the warranty but that says how much confidence they have in their product.

Jonnyguru gave that EVGA a 9.9/10, and they are the top PSU testing site around.

+1 ^^^^^^^^^^JUST BOUGHT THAT UNIT LAST WEEK ^ it's the best 850w on the market in my opinion.

I would take the EVGA 850G2 over the XFX actually. Longer warranty, and built by Super Flower.
