Question XMP Before and After - Interpreting CPU-Z Results

Hello, I would like to understand what I'm reading in the "memory" tab of CPU-Z.

When enabling XMP, the bios says "DDR5-6000" but the CPU-Z "memory" tab shows 3000. Is the "3000" the "per-channel" figure? And with dual channel, I get 6000? I'm totally guessing here...

3000MHz is ram frequency, it is DDR (double data rate), it shows up as DDR5-6000, because thats how JEDEC named it, but thats not in MHz, but in MT/s
so 3000MHz = 6000MT/s

if you click on SPD tab, there would be max bandwith DDR5-6000 (3000MHz)
