[SOLVED] XMP isn’t working with my ram.

Hello all.

I’m struggling to get my ram to run at it’s intended speed and I was wondering if you could help. I have a set of 2 x 8gb LPX 3000Mhz from Corsair but even after enabling XMP its no bueno. It’s currently maxing out at 2,128. CPU-Z is also showing 1066 JEDEC.

Just to clarify, I am undoubtedly a novice builder and really have no idea what i’m doing in terms of overclocking so if you could be patient with me I would be very appreciative.

ASUS TUF B660 WiFi Gaming Plus
i5 12400
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x 8GB) 3000MHz DDR4

Depending on the BIOS version, there MAY be more recent bios that improves stability.
What is your BIOS version and are there any revisions since ?

Updated the bios to the latest version. Still nothing, any other suggestions?

Make sure to reset CMOS after the bios update. Otherwise the new version may not function as expected.
