Just built a new computer yesterday. Everything was running fine yesterday evening and earlier today. It is a Ryzen 7 1700 cpu, so it was recommended that I pick up some higher frequency RAM to take advantage of the Ryzen so I bought some Corsair Vengeance LPX which can overclock up to 3000. I have two 8gb sticks.
The mobo is an Aorus AX370-gaming K5.
Today I flashed the bios - everything worked fine after a restart - and then went back into the bios and enabled XMP. There was only one profile to choose from. When I restarted the computer would power up briefly and then within seconds shut down. Then repeat...over and over. I had to turn off the power at the PSU.
I pulled one stick out and tried starting again and it did post and worked fine with the one stick. But when I put the second stick back in again the same issue occurred.
Not sure what to do.
