I recently built a rig with i7-14700K paired with Gigabyte B760M DS3H DDR5 motherboard having Corsair DDR5 5200MHz CMK16GX5M1B5200C40 powered by Deepcool 750W Gold.
Initially, 4800MHz was set as default and after enabling XMP, every time I switch on the PC, it turns on then immediately switches off for another second and then automatically turns on and then forth runs without any issues/crashes.

My query here would be, is the switching on and off considered to be normal or an abnormal behavior because it happens only when I switch on the XMP Profile 1.

Appreciate any info on this!

Yes, afterwards it runs at 5200 with no issues at all.

This happens whenever I shut down completely and turn it back on.
It sounds like it's doing memory training every time you boot.

Look for the Memory Boot Mode setting and see what it's set to, but normal/auto should work. If everything else you try fails you could try setting this to fast boot, but I'd do that last.

Also check the Memory Training Settings. The BIOS manual doesn't show the options here, but generally should be self explanatory.
