How do you know that the Corsair can support XMP?
I know mine does :--
HyperX HX426C16FB3K2/16 is a kit of two 1G x 64-bit (8GB) DDR4-2666 CL16 SDRAM (Synchronous DRAM) 1Rx8, memory module, based on eight 1G x 8-bit FBGA components per module. Each module kit supports Intel® Extreme Memory Profiles (Intel® XMP) 2.0. Total kit capacity is 16GB. Each module has been tested to run at DDR4-2666 at a low latency timing of 16-18-18 at 1.2V. Additional timing parameters are shown in the Plug-N-Play (PnP) Timing Parameters section below. The JEDEC standard electrical and mechanical specifications are as follows:
FACTORY TIMING PARAMETERS
• Default (Plug N Play): DDR4-2666 CL16-18-18 @1.2V
• XMP Profile #1: DDR4-2666 CL16-18-18 @1.2V
I am no here to humiliate anyone of those who loves corsair brand.
But here is my 2 cent.
Check everything before you buy.
I have seen many since the launch of the Ryzen processor
buy the wrong specification of RAM from Corsair.
Don't just be because of the low latency, nice name, nice speed etc you buy it
AND THEN LATER REGRET IT.
Always check first.
I want to tell Corsair to go ??? ???? because they always don't know how to inform the client by in large in the market place to see if the XMP is properly put in.
BIOS is not support .........
