Hello everyone.
I recently figure out the problem with my headphones HYPERX CLOUD CORE. My system is not able to completely power them.It only has output of 32 ohms and hyperx requires 60 ohms.
My mothebroard is GA-h110m
audio codec : alc 887

So my question is which sound card should I get between these two.?

Both of them have a decent amp to power my headphones. But will it downgrade my audio quality?
What i am trying to ask is ...does the audio codec alc 887 produces better audio quality than these sound cards?(Just exclude the amp feature for a moment in these sound cards). ??

Which one should i buy xonar dgx or audigy fx?

All sort of suggestions are accepted. Feel free to guide me.
Thankyou in advance for giving me your time. :) 😀

a sound card/controller will produce sharper and more acute sound than a codec, will have 128+ channels of sound instead of 64, make you wonder why you wanted to use the mobo controller in the first place*.

accuracy of sound is what makes a non-mobo controller worth its money (plus a decent headset and/or speakers). you might not notice the difference immediately (upgrades generally go unnoticed), but if you step back to the mobo sound after a week with a proper controler, you will wonder why you put up with mobo sound.

its like i have said in the past... if you eat baked beans ... can you tell the difference between the value beans and heinz? those with better taste buds can, and that holds true for sound. if you have better acute...

though i use a soundblaster, i would chose the xonar from those 2 you have listed.
