xp 500gb flash drive

i put movies on a 500gb flash drive format fat32 the data is there but the movies are not it displays 00;00-00;00 the movies transfer just fine after the first format when i plug it back in to my computer the movies dont transfer properly iam using windows xp

What flash drive is this? Most very large flash drives from eBay are fakes, and a real 512GB USB stick costs around $150 so you may as well use a SSD in an enclosure.

XP also does not allow you to format a drive larger than 32GB as FAT32 so you'd have to use special formatting utilities. Any utility can be fooled by the firmware of the drive deliberately misrepresenting itself, so the acid test is filling the drive and then seeing if everything works. The fakes never do.

And if it did work files bigger than 4 GB would have a prob. Since FAT32 has a limitation of 4 GB

That sounds like you purchased a fake "500GB flash drive".
