Hi

What changed recently
Hardware or software wise this may give you a clue

If you can get to the cmd prompt
Type ipconfig /all

Ipconfig /all > net.txt puts output in file net.txt

Post results

If you go to browser and type address.
192.168.10.10
This probably gets to broadband modem router login page
You can check router is connected to internet,
Speed upload & download

What it's IP address is (issued by ISP system) and if it is connected to Internet and confirm it is set to issue IP addresses to connected systems (your PC)

Check the windows networking settings that it is set to use dhcp server not fixed IP address

if you have all the internet configuration details from your ISP you can try a full reset of internet router
Which may require you to re enter configuration

In some cases with ISP supplied modem routers ISP tech support can do remote access to router modem and then your PC to sort out problems.

Consider if windows corrupt a Linux live CD can boot up & go on internet
But if router modem problem it will not get on internet
One example is kaspersky rescue CD or similar AV boot disks, old copy of Parted Magic (current version cost $5 per download)
There are many more these are the ones I have used recently

If windows XP x 64 is corrupt consider getting windows 7 upgrade as all versions of w XP & 2003 will soon be obsolete ( no more bug fixes every month)

Best of luck
