Does anyone know of a tool that can properly ID brand new hardware that the manufacture has not provided XP drivers for? Then provide links to possible generic drivers or something from the chipset manufacture. (It would be nice to have the level of driver support that one gets in most linux live disks, but, it's windows, so I don't really expect that) I have a new HP pavilion that needs to run XP & not 7. Not a virtual XP in 7 or in Linux, but XP on the desktop. I don't really want to have to add new cards for sound, ethernet, & video but have had no luck from HP and little luck on searches for info & drivers.
