Hmm. I am configuring wireless for retroprecise 5.4.3 Linux. The Linux firmware for wireless does not work well. I tried using Windows XP .exe for the NDIS wrapper. It rejects .exe and informs me I need a .inf. Any way to extract the .inf out of the .exe installer, or download the .inf alone?

Yes you need to download the ZIP file version instate of the EXE


also for you information these is a Driver not Firmware.

A Driver is software that allows the OS to communicate to the hardware.
Firmware is stored on the hardware for it to work.

I got from the zip:

Netw5x32.INF and w29n51.1nf

I got invalid driver after trying each one. Wonder what driver XP uses and where to get it?
