Will Ghost write to an external firewire drive?

I went to options, enable external firewire support and it remain checked
but a quick flicker of the drive in the external enclosure and back to
windows.

Ghost will work OK on my external USB 2.0 drive. I am using the same PCI USB
2.0/Firewire card for both drives.

Both drives in the firewire enclosure work fine in XP, and are recognized in
Explorer etc.

I am trying to use the second drive for the backup, first drive master,
second drive cable select. Does that make a difference? Both drives are WD.

The reason I am using the second drive is that I am using the first drive
for ripping from my Dishplayer, and need to swap frequently. The jumpers
need to be master for the Dishplayer.

Thanks
Bob

Changed second drive to cable select get the same result.

I am able to write an image on the first drive but not on the second.

It boots to PC dos, I get all of the setup messages, goes to the ghost gui
and then to an error message "can not find drive with specified disk
identification. You may need to add additional drivers"
