The laptop is for use as a computer which I will plug my keyboard, mouse, monitor and Ethernet into while at my dorm but then unplug and take out on campus to lectures etc.
Things I'll need to plug in whilst in my dorm are:
-3.0 keyboard+mouse
-Ethernet cable
-25inch 1440p monitor at 60fps
-Connectivity:
■ 2 HDMI(MHL) connector
1 Mini DisplayPort
1 DisplayPort (version 1.2)
1 DisplayPort out (MST)
1 Audio Line out (connect your speakers)
5 USB 3.0 ports - Downstream (4 at the back, 1 with battery charging)
1 USB 3.0 port - Upstream
The laptop has 2 usb 3.0 ports, 1 Thunderbolt 3 port, 1 HDMI port(gen 1.4)
Is there a way to do all this with one plug but not impair/bottleneck the performance of the devices? E.g. thunderbolt dock that includes Ethernet, monitor port and two usb 3. If this isn't possible, any advice on how to connect the monitor, and a good Ethernet adapter is appreciated.
Thanks for any help/suggestions.
