So as the title goes i noticed that when started up google chrome it would say that an extension was available to enable, that being the yahoo toolbar extension. However, i have no clue how it got onto my computer, i do not remember downloading anything recently that had a checkbox to install it and i cant find it in my control panel under the uninstall programs. Does anyone have any clue on how to remove it from the computer it self. I have done multiple malware bytes scans and Kaspersky scans and nothing was found. Please help, i have no idea

Do you attach Chrome to your Gmail account under Settings / Sign In? If so it is likely that Chrome is reinstalling the extension each time you login so while you have Chrome signed into your Gmail account uninstall the extension under More Tools / Extensions than it should be gone otherwise you may need to Reset sync under Settings / Sign In "Manage your synced data on Google Dashboard".
It is possible that if the computer is shared that another person when they login to Chrome sync it is also re-adding the extension but once you login to sync it will reset to only have extension you want.

i wish it were that easy but its not under there I have check and triple checked but nothing....

That's the other problem because i did check in both internet explorer and google chrome extensions and i removed both of them but lets say i reset google chrome and delete a users from the settings and restart google chrome it will say that the yahoo toolbar is an available extension which makes no sense because i don't see anything my computer, which is partly why I'm scared because i need to find it. Any ideas?

You make a very good point and in fact I did try that and found nothing, and I tried to let it run for sometime because it does take a while, however I also ran into other problems when I tried to activate the built in administrator and log in to that account the desktop could not be located and I got a sihost.exe hard error. I couldn't find a fix for any of these and also when I ever I tried to create a new user account that was either admin or standard it wouldn't load up at all and say the the user profile service was working. So I gonna have to reset my entire PC. But with that I do have one more question I deciding if I should reset or reset with image from USB? And if I does the system image reset will my windows still be activated? And overall which is better? Any ideas?

if that is the case then it sounds like it was just a google chrome extension that a website or program was trying to add to your browser so if you did remove it from the google chrome extension list then there should be no trace of it left on your computer. if your didn't well you disabled it anyway

if malware bytes didn't find anything then you don't have any malware on your computer either
