Question Yellow tint issue on BenQ ew3270u

My BenQ ew3270u has a strong Yellow tint . I had to customize R G B values to R=80, G=84 & B=100, in 'user' profile to make whites look somewhat white but it made the screen dimmer & low contrast and overall colors just don't look very good this way.
Basically the yellow tint is linked to the contrast setting. Higher the contrast value more the whites become yellow.

This does not seem to be connected to the display drivers as even the UI of the Monitor itself is affected by the issue.

Any help will be appreciated.



Interestingly and unrelated to this, my old Lenovo laptop also has the same exact issue.

Do you smoke cigarettes? It does that to monitors.

My Samsung monitor showed weird yellowing effect when HDR was on. Try:

On the monitor's OCD screen, set the color temperature to normal.

Then -

Disable HDR function - (page 33 of the user Manual)
Turn the Bright Intelligence function Off - (page 31/32 of the manual)
