That's the intake side of the fans, and I don't think it would make a significant difference to cooling performance, since there seems to be a reasonable amount of space between those accents and the fan blades. The cooler looks rather capable, in any case.

I actually think it's a really nice looking card. At least it has a unique look going for it, unlike the vast majority of cards out there today, where the design rarely extends beyond being black with silver or red accents. The shroud would also look nice with a riser, for anyone not wanting a waifu backplate visible in their case. Yeston previously did a 5700 XT using that same character, though the shroud of that card was impressively tacky by comparison...

I have no idea who that character is, but man THAT is the greatest-looking GPU I've ever seen.

I've made it my lifelong dream to get my hands on one of those. Utter madness, probably, but I'm a sucker for white coloured PC parts.
